My name’s Brian. I studied music at university and learned to use a sequencer, and for a long time I enjoyed composing, especially epic soundtrack music using my own iMac music station with my Korg X5D synthesizer and midi keyboard.
Then in 2020 I had a severe reaction to medication that left me disabled. I was no longer able to use my home music studio. My love of music died.
By the end of 2025 I wanted to try something — anything — involving music again. So I began to experiment with AI tools to compose, mix, and master tracks. I loved some of these so much that I kept humming them through the day. My love of music had returned. I am now adding standard music software to my workflow for mixing and editing and mastering.
The aiternal project is my way of sharing my favorite music from this experiment, covering a mix of epic soundtrack and songs rooted in world music, history, and myth.
